Ready to go?

So I went to the Drs office today. Last week, I was 1 centimeter dilated and 50% effaced. I was hoping for 2 centimeters, but instead I got 3! That's right 3 centimeters and 70% effaced.

So with that, I thought, "Holy Crap, this could happen soon." I also thought, do we have everything? Now, as Mike mentioned before, we have been worrying about different things the closer Harley gets to being here. My worries have focus on having EVERYTHING we could possibly EVER need. Right. Now. Sometimes Mike has to talk me off the ledge because I want the stroller that we won't use for 3 months, put together ASAP. But I digress...

So on that note of my pregnancy craziness, I wanted to share a few pics of us having most everything ready. Grandparents are coming out in the next two months, so I'm sure he will be beyond spoiled and we will have to get another storage unit. :) Thanks to everyone that has gotten us stuff thus far too!

Mike's Thoughts

I, "MIKE", am very excited for our new addition to make his arrival into this world.  Kelly has been doing very well, she has made being pregnant look easy.  She rarely complains about how uncomfortable I know she is and how much she's ready to not be pregnant anymore.  I have tried to be as supportive as possible but I know that Kelly's had to deal with my worries and concerns of having a child right along with being pregnant.  Her worries are always different from mine and sometimes were both looking at each other asking "why are you worried about that".  With all that, we are doing great and the baby could be born any day now.  We have decided that his name will be Harley Michael Smith, Harley after my grandpa who passed away October 19th, two days after our wedding and Michael after me, of course along with her dad and grandfather.  So now Kelly still has a couple days of work before she goes on leave and I just started my summer vacation from school.  Life is good and we are excited. God has blessed us greatly and I thank Him daily.  Please keep us in your prayers and we will update ASAP.

34ish weeks.

New to this....

Well, well, well.... I think I might have figured this out. I, Kelly, have decided to start a blog to share with our friends and family the daily info on our little family. Plus, any other random thoughts that we might have. I'm still trying to figure it all out and hopefully it will be more than a part time rant.

Also, I want to put some pics up, but I think it will have to wait until next time.
